Location Update
S.C.R.E.W.S. Tool Library has closed our Woodville Hwy location and is currently operating out of a storage unit. We are open Saturdays from 12:00–4:00 PM.
Tool pick-ups and drop-offs are by appointment at this time, and additional scheduling accommodations are available upon request. Thank you for your continued support as we move through this transition.
By embracing the values of equitable access, sharing and mentorship we hope to put revitalization resources into the hands of those who need them the most. We are here to foster a culture that instills confidence in others so they may pick up a tool to fix, improve, renovate, re-imagine, recycle, upcycle and make it better.
Why is S.C.R.E.W.S. necessary? With the loss of Gramling’s and the Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore moving to the north side of town, S.C.R.E.W.S. aims to become a revitalization hub in the hardware store resource desert of the south side of Tallahassee. As a tool library this is just the beginning for the citizens of Southside Tallahassee and beyond. We focus on serving the under-served with sustainable practices of recycling, repurposing and reusing.
